CEDAR Forum highlights Syracuse Home Equity Protection Plan

C.E.D.A.R., Ltd., a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding housing opportunities for low income individuals and families in the Central New York area, is providing a forum on the Syracuse Home Equity Protection Program, Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the Onondaga Commons Community Room. Virginia Smith, Home Equity Protection Coordinator at Home HeadQuarters will be the guest speaker.

The Syracuse Home Equity Protection Program helps to provide city homeowners with financial protection should the housing market decline in their area as defined by zipcode. This program is administered by Home HeadQuarters, Inc., a local non-profit housing and neighborhood revitalization organization. In the past year and a half, more than $4.7 million of home value has been protected in Syracuse.
